Artist Bio
I took landscape oil painting classes in high school from a local artist. I was commissioned to paint for a lady in our home town of Pontotoc who had built a new house. She saw a painting of mine displayed at the library. I started painting again about 10 years ago taking lessons from Beth Dean. I became interested in portrait painting and took lessons from Herb Mays. The last several years I have enjoyed taking workshops. I have taken workshops lead by Susan Patton, Dawn Whitelaw, and Rose Frantzen. The paintings I have sold have all been commissions by people that I know or have seen my work.
