Artist Bio
Bryan is a retired Naval veteran, a resident of Brandon, MS, and a member of the Mississippi Artist Guild and Pastel Society of Mississippi. He has been drawing since he could hold a pencil, and his formal art education is limited to 6th grade watercolor class and a summer craft introduction to pastels. He is a self-taught multimedia artist working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, charcoal, and pastels. Bryan has five styles of painting which he describes as dreamscape, realistic, whimsical (can it be), Biblical abstracts and BTE (behind the eyelid-what you see when you first close your eyes to sleep). Bryan is also a wood craft artisan and has won awards in wood carving/sculpting and model ship building.
