Pat (Trisha) Fitzgerald has been drawing and painting all her life. As a senior at Southside High School in Memphis, TN she received the Gold Key Scholastic Art Award and was one of two people (a boy and a girl) selected to attend the Memphis Academy of Arts in Memphis on Saturdays that year. She did not pursue her art endeavors seriously again until after raising her family and a 37 year government career even though she used her art talents through the years in various ways in her work-a-day world and as a part-time designer of 3M National Advertising Co billboards in between full-time government jobs. After retirement, a neighbor and dear friend told her about Dianne Norman’s art classes in 2010 and she has attended her classes ever since. She has also attended several art workshops and received Third Place and Honorable Mention ribbons in competitions. Her notecards (of her artworks) are being sold at Polk’s Pharmacy in Byram, Mississippi. She thanks God everyday for the art talents she has and gives Him all the Glory. 🎨👩🏼🎨✝️ Joshua 1:9.
